From the April 1965 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In this issue of The Christian Science Journal, in the listing of the cards of the Christian Science nurses, beginning on page 104, new symbols are shown, a different allocation has been given a symbol previously used, and one symbol has been changed.

These symbols and their designations have been adopted to give clearer information regarding the training and nursing background of the listed Christian Science nurses. Their consecration and devotion to duty play an important part in the healing ministry of Christian Science.
