A lecture explains the practical value of Christian Science when applied to problems of whatever nature and proclaims the actuality of good, which counteracts the fables of material sense and destroys them.
In this healing atmosphere the newcomer to Christian Science becomes acquainted with fresh aspects of God as divine Mind, infinite Love, perfect Principle, eternal Life —as Soul, Spirit, Truth, immutable and omnipotent, forever governing man in perfect harmony; while those who are already students of this Science find the lecture a period of spiritual refreshment and reaffirmation of an understanding already gained. All may feel the power and vitality of Spirit, the regenerating activity of Life, and the liberating effect of Love.
Much of the inharmony experienced by people is due to ignorance concerning God and man's eternal inheritance of freedom and harmony as His reflection. Christian Science dispels this ignorance, revealing the unity of God and man as Father and son, a relationship which cannot be broken, one in which man is the recipient of his Father's perpetual blessings. God is revealed as the source of health which cannot be depleted, of substance which cannot be lost, of faculties which never diminish, and there is no other source.
