THE Annual Meeting of The Mother Church on June 7 drew Christian Scientists from throughout the United States and from around the world. Reports of progress on many fronts from The Mother Church officers and from the Field, accompanied by notable accounts of spiritual healing, inspired all present with a renewed sense of having part in a vital, purposeful movement. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, out of her deep love for God and for the whole of humanity gave this movement both purpose and impetus. Members returned to their home fields with a fuller recognition that as they follow their Leader in this love for God and for the whole of humanity, they will find the impetus of their movement maintained and its purpose progressively achieved.
