"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 494). This statement from the textbook has been proven true many times in my experience. As I held thought steadfastly to the fact that Life is God and there is no death, I was able to rise above any sense of grief at the passing of my husband. Divine Love had met my need.
When I was faced with having to live alone, this adjustment was made easily and naturally. Again divine Love met my need. This was a wonderful demonstration of God's care, as before this I had always had a dread of being alone at night. When I had to earn a living, divine Love met that need too. This adjustment was made harmoniously, for which I am grateful.
I had an interesting experience about nine years ago. Shortly after I had had a new permanent, my hair suddenly became very dull and dry. I complained to the hairdresser thinking it was the fault of the permanent, but she was amazed to find my head covered with dandruff, something I had never had before.
