The Christian Science Board of Directors announces the election of Robert C. Bergenheim, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, as Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society, effective July 1, 1969.
Mr. Bergenheim has been Assistant Manager of the Publishing Society since 1965. His appointment follows the resignation of Bruce G. McCauley, Manager of the Publishing Society since 1962. Mr. McCauley will become General Manager of the New York Daily News.
Mr. Bergenheim is a lifelong Christian Scientist. He joined The Mother Church in 1946 and received Primary class instruction in 1957. He has been active in branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, serving as First Reader and as a member of an executive board and on various church committees.
