JESUS WEPT

From the March 1970 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Lazarus slept.
Human sense
Knew it not
Jesus wept.

He talked with God,
Denied the lie,
The false belief
That man must die.

Jesus saw
The perfect one,
Perfect Father,
Perfect son.

"Come forth," he said,
And Lazarus walked,
Awoke to Life.
He was not dead.
