Behold, O men, Love's quickening message:
Eternal life, through Christ assured
By Jesus' triumph in the Spirit—
A faithful witness to the Lord.
Yea, all the hosts of heaven declare it!
And all earth's creatures bow the knee
To that unseen dynamic presence
Whose truth transfigures you and me.
Know, as the flower's refreshed by dew,
So are men strengthened by His power.
The power that overflows all being,
Beyond the day, beyond the hour.
Then, up, men! Up! The risen Saviour
Is our Ensample all the way.
May angels speed us in ascending.
Now is the time! Now is the day!
