Christ Jesus understood that God is infinite Spirit, the only Life. He knew that man's real, spiritual being is the perfect expression of Life. This enabled him to restore the sinner to goodness, the sick to health, and the dead to life and freedom. The Master never made a reality of death or anything else unlike God, divine Life.
Jesus' thinking expressed spiritual purity, and this was manifested as power, harmony, poise, love, and goodness in his earthly service to mankind. His sinless life enabled him to be victorious through his resurrection and ascension.
The great Way-shower declared in the Sermon on the Mount, "Blessed are the pure in heart [thought]: for they shall see God."Matt. 5:8; Purity will have to play a much greater part in human experience in this existence and the next before human beings can finally prove their entire dominion over the belief of death. This purity alludes to the spirituality of thought and life that is necessary to prove the power of God in practical ways. Like Jesus, we can never condone evil under any guise but must expose it, denounce it, and nullify it as no part of the divine plan for God's man.
