Christian Science imparts a wonderfully satisfying sense of the love of God, of His all-inclusive presence and power. When our perception of this Science is clear, we find joy and fulfillment in the contemplation of our real being in and of the one creative Mind. "The peace of God, which passeth all understanding,"Phil. 4:7 fills our thought with its healing stillness and strength.
But sometimes we seem to lose our inspiration. Preoccupation with material things and selfish interests appears to create a barrier to the light of Truth, and we grope about in mental darkness wondering where the vision of reality has gone.
In actual fact it hasn't gone anywhere, for God, infinite, divine consciousness, never ceases to be All. Christ Jesus' ministry was devoted to proving this fact. He worked to break the barriers of a material sense of things, to prove the reality of spiritual being and the nothingness of matter, and how an understanding of this can heal sickness and even raise the dead.
