The Herald of Christian Science was my first introduction to this religion, which I came to know and love in 1916. It introduced me wonderfully to this healing religion and accompanies me to the present day.
The Herald was my rod and staff according to the guiding purpose our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, gave it: "To proclaim the universal activity and availability of Truth" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353). I am especially grateful for this, because studying the excellent articles has brought me protection and many healings.
For over fifty years God, all good, has been my only physician, and the Bible and the textbook, Science and Health, along with all other writings of Mrs. Eddy, have been my only medicine.
