Christ Jesus was the master Metaphysician. His healing works have never been surpassed. Every practitioner of Christian healing today longs to emulate his mighty power, which was God's power, understood and demonstrated. Mrs. Eddy realized the fundamental importance of healing on the part of Christ Jesus' followers. She writes: "Less teaching and good healing is to-day the acme of 'well done;' a healing that is not guesswork,—chronic recovery ebbing and flowing,—but instantaneous cure. This absolute demonstration of Science must be revived." Miscellaneous Writings, p. 355
Good healing work can be part of the life of every sincere Christian Scientist, and the instantaneous cures wrought by the Way-shower and by Mrs. Eddy as his follower can be more frequently repeated today.
Jesus derived great strength from his conviction of who he was and where he came from. He said, "I and my Father are one"John 10:30 and "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do : for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." 5: 19
