Life in and unity with God is the unchanging status of man's true being. Human thought sees it as a vivid, conscious sense of oneness with the substance of divine Love. Christian Science reveals the possibility here and now of our reaching a practical understanding of this sublime relationship, and how a knowledge of it can be applied to healing the sick and solving the multitude of other problems that plague mankind.
The unifying Principle is God Himself. He is infinite self-conscious Being, indivisible all-inclusive Mind or Spirit. As we glimpse this unbroken divine infinity, we gain the inescapable conclusion that man and the universe live in God. The infinitely varied manifestations of God exist within His allness. With one accord they express His perfect nature and partake of His substance, life, and intelligence.
Put in another way, the divine Mind, or creative Ego, expresses itself in a multiplicity of thoughts, or ideas, and these are the true identities of all men everywhere. Nothing destructive or discordant can reach or touch these identities because, in reality, they cannot be separated or torn apart from the perfect Mind that conceives them and holds them within itself.
