HERE I STAND

From the May 1975 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Nothing moves me
From the parapets of Truth.
The storm may rage,
The sea may roar,
The wind bluster;
Each blast my greater
Faith to muster.

The world may doubt,
But here I stand
Eternally secure,
Calm and sure
In my redoubt.

Men may rule
It cannot be;
I stand strong
Till higher thoughts
Bring victory
With joyous song.
