In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures Mary Baker Eddy writes concerning divine Science (p. 558): "When you look it fairly in the face, you can heal by its means, and it has for you a light above the sun, for God 'is the light thereof.' "
I had made up my mind to ponder this sentence in order to gain a spiritually clearer understanding of it, paying special attention to the "little foxes," uncovering the unconscious thoughts that would obscure one's clear view of Christian Science. After some time I had the impression that I had not made much headway in my study. I countered this negative thinking with the firm conviction that God brings every sincere effort to express Truth to a successful conclusion.
