The Scripture "before they call, I will answer" (Isa. 65:24) was most beautifully proved true to me four years ago while I was living on an island in the Bahamas.
One Saturday as a result of a collision while driving my car, I came to, lying on my back at the side of the road, with these words filling my thought: "God is my Life." I immediately sat up and realized that right there was an opportunity to demonstrate God's allness and omnipresence and know that He had indeed answered before my call.
By this time witnesses to the collision were surrounding me, expressing astonishment to find me alive, considering the circumstances. I was told that an ambulance had been sent for, but I managed to impress upon one young man the fact that because I was a Christian Scientist I did not desire medical treatment but only wished to be taken home. A car was brought up, and I immediately stood up and was taken home.
