As my last testimony appeared in the Journal of April 1958 I feel another is due.
I am grateful for continued progress in the understanding and demonstration of Christian Science. My gratitude would not be complete without special appreciation and thanks to the Bible Lesson Committee, whose work gives us so much joy and inspiration in our study. Some years ago I had an outstanding healing in the following circumstances. One day I agreed with my neighbor to share the work of resurfacing the driveway between our houses. This led me into some very strenuous labor to which I was unused. After eight hours of extreme physical exertion I seemed to be quite unaffected, and I agreed to continue the work the following day. However, after a bath and change of clothes I sat down to a meal and immediately felt very ill. I suddenly seemed to be completely sapped of all strength and energy. Excusing myself from the table, I went into another room and sank into a chair.
