Many branches of The Mother Church in smaller towns have received financial assistance from the Mangels Fund since the fund was first announced to the Field in 1973. Grants from the Mangels Fund have aided in the purchase or building of edifices, in alterations or additions to present facilities including Sunday Schools and Reading Rooms, and in refurbishment projects.
This fund is still available to branches who may need assistance for projects of this type. A requirement of the fund is that the branch be located in a town of population no greater than 20,000. To receive a copy of the latest guidelines and questionnaire, branches may write to:
