The clarity of divine Science

From the January 1978 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The divine Science of being is understandable, exact, and pure. It holds no uncertainties. The teachings of Science are clear and precise. Divine Science is unconfused. It truly is a cup of refreshing water for those who have begun to realize that their spiritual thirst will not be quenched through the parched material senses.

The revelation of Truth is profound. It shakes the very foundation and cuts the very roots of mortality. And yet its message is so pure—so clear—that a child can grasp and understand it. Reality is not a complicated maze of human reasoning. It is lucid and unobscured to the receptive heart.

The entire premise of Christian Science can be stated in a few sentences. Mrs. Eddy lists what seemed to her the very basic points that summarize divine metaphysics:
"1 . God is All-in-all.
2. God is good. Good is Mind.
3. God, Spirit, being all, nothing is
matter.
4. Life, God, omnipotent good, deny
death, evil, sin, disease.—Disease, sin,
evil, death, deny good, omnipotent God,
Life."Science and Health, p. 113;
