I have been healed in Christian Science of epilepsy. I am very happy to express my deep gratitude for the blessings I have received. I had been an epileptic from my childhood. This seemed a difficult affliction to overcome; many Christian Science practitioners had prayed for me at different times. My mother was very fearful for me; she was always afraid to leave me alone.
Later, in my branch church, I met a young man who a short time later asked me to marry him. We told him about my case, but he saw it as no obstacle.
Since I was no longer alone and had a life partner, my mother's fear subsided; the attacks occurred not only less frequently but also less violently. The healing was not quick, but we "fought a good fight," we "kept the faith" (II Tim. 4:7), and for years now I have been completely free of that malady.
