What metaphysical and spiritual truths support the demonstration of higher ethics and morality?

Are higher ethics and morality demonstrable?

No doubt about it! They are. And the key to such demonstration is a correct concept of man—his nature, origin, motivation, purpose. This accurate concept is spiritual.

The Ten Commandments recorded by Moses are basic to ethics and morality. Divinely inspired, they form the groundwork of enlightened law and moral order. Their clear declaration of monotheism—that there is one God only and that He is supreme—establishes the criterion for all ethical and moral behavior.

Christ Jesus made it clear that his teachings were in support of law. He fulfilled the true intent of law, revealing the completeness and perfection of man's being. The Apostle Paul paid tribute to spiritual law when he wrote, "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."Rom. 8:2;
