General Information

From the August 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Beginning August 27, "Words of Current Interest" will have a new name— and a new location. In response to many requests for a column that could be used more conveniently, the new "Bible Notes" will appear every month in the last issue of the Sentinel as a four-page, center-of-the-magazine pullout section.

The Sentinel pullout section will be based on the format previously contained in the Journal. Last-of-the month issues of the Sentinel mailed to subscribers in North America will carry "Notes" for the following month; i.e., the August 27 issue will have "Notes" on each of the September Lesson-Sermons. The August 27 issue mailed overseas will carry the November "Notes" in order to reach distant points in time.

To assure that readers will not miss any columns because of the change, "Notes" for September and October will also run in the August and September Journals under the old "Words of Current Interest" title. Without this overlap, overseas readers would not get the October "Notes."
