We can all become scientific healers, as followers of Christ Jesus, if we earnestly desire to do so. This is not an unattainable goal.
To achieve this aim we must be willing to work and strive to fulfill our desire. We can begin by cultivating and cherishing a heartfelt love for God and an overflowing and completely unselfed love for mankind. When asked by one of the scribes which was the first commandment of all, the Master replied: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30, 31.
In order to obey fully these two commandments, which are the gateway leading to Christianly scientific healing, our thinking needs to be continually purified. Pure thought is a reflection of pure Mind and heals scientifically.
