Healing fulfills prophecy

From the June 1985 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Comprehending the fulfillment of prophecy is as individual as comprehending prophecy itself. Christ Jesus' ministry fulfilled Old Testament prophecies of a coming Messiah. But to this day not everyone knows of these prophecies or has accepted their fulfillment.

Fewer still perceive that the Comforter promised by Jesus is here now, in the form of the Science of Christianity. Discerning the workings of prophecy on the human scene plainly requires the cultivation of spiritual sense.

First we must admit that there is something to be seen and known beyond what the material senses present. We must also admit that what Christian Science reveals of divine reality is correct. We are aided in this admission by the experience of healing done without material aid and through spiritual means alone as Jesus exemplified. These healing works furnish indisputable proof of the reality of God, Spirit, and His kingdom.
