A number of branch churches have reported on special prayer that is being offered in regard to current legal challenges to Christian Scientists. The following report illustrates an individual approach decided upon by members of a branch in Texas.
Last year our church responded to a letter from The Mother Church encouraging prayer regarding the legal challenges facing our movement. The members decided to deal with the situation directly.
We spent most of the summer working metaphysically in our own individual ways. Then we shared with each other (in successive small group meetings) answers that had unfolded to each of us.
