Peter and Andrew were casting a net into the sea when Christ Jesus called to them to follow him in his healing ministry. They immediately left their nets and followed.
Some time ago I read and pondered this passage in the Gospel, desiring to understand what those disciples had evidently understood. I earnestly wanted to know that I, too, could someday follow the Master's command and devote myself to healing in the full-time practice of Christian Science. If I'd been Peter or Andrew, would I have left my nets to follow Christ Jesus?
