Christian Science was brought to our family when my sister had been hospitalized for appendicitis and peritonitis. After many days the doctors told our parents that they had done all they could do for my sister and that they did not expect a recovery. Our father, who was acquainted with Christian Science, got in touch with a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to pray for my sister. That was the turning point in her illness; she immediately began to recover and was soon completely well.
The wonderful part of this healing was the fact that although my sister, my mother, and other members of the family were very skeptical and had many prejudiced ideas about Christian Science, my sister was healed completely.
