Many have inquired about the status of the revision of the Christian Science Hymnal. This has been an enormous undertaking, spanning a number of years. Although a completed manuscript is now in hand, the production schedule has not yet been established, pending final review by the Board of Trustees of the Publishing Society and The Christian Science Board of Directors.
Branch churches and societies that have been expecting to replace worn copies of the 1932 edition with the revised edition may wish, for now, to take advantage of an offer to order new copies of the present edition. They will be credited toward their purchase of the revised Hymnal when it is released. More information about this plan will be available through your Reading Rooms.
Members and branches will be notified well in advance of the publication date for the revised Hymnal. In the meantime, we deeply appreciate your patient waiting and your continuing support of all our publishing activities.
