Some years ago an optometrist told me after an examination that I had glaucoma and offered to give me the name of a specialist. I thanked him, but said I would go to a Christian Science practitioner for healing through prayer. At the end of three months of diligently studying the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, I was indeed completely healed. After that I received my driver's license when I was well past middle age and have had no further symptoms of that disease.
My healing of colds, which had occurred annually during the winter months, is another one I really appreciate.
A more recent healing happened when I fell in the rear hallway of my apartment. I could not think clearly enough to pray with any of the spiritual truths of Christian Science, and thought I had broken my hip.
