"God is love"I John 4:16. the Bible teaches.
Those three small words trip lightly off the tongue—
easily said, not so easily understood.
I do know God is Love, have felt it before,
have wanted so to feel it more.
But I'm so surrounded by the world.
How to see past, feel past, the human condition
of want and woe, sin and hatred,
of me and you instead of the divine Us?
How can I live this heavenly love, dear Father?
And let my light so shine that men glorify You?

"Don't be afraid. You are living love,
