To our readers ...

From the Publishing Director

From the January 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Christian Science Sentinel was established by Mary Baker Eddy "... to hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love...." This distinctly important mission applies to the print version of the Sentinel as well as the Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition, which can be heard over shortwave and many local commercial radio stations nationwide.

The program consists of and interviews and features that look at a wide range of important concerns in the light of Christian Science. Also included are testimonies of healing, a segment focusing on the Bible, and often a hymn and a letterbox section that answers listeners' questions. Shortwave programs are broadcast weekly. One broadcast per month is chosen for sale in Christian Science Reading Rooms as well as for individual subscription fulfillment.

You can find program listings in The Christian Science Journal or you can visit a Reading Room to borrow or purchase a cassette. Right now you can take advantage of a special sample tape offer while supplies last. Just specify the title of the program you'd like to sample, include a $10.00 check or money order payable to Christian Science Sentinel, and send to: Sentinel Radio Sample, P-980, The Christian Science Publishing Society, One Norway Street, Boston, MA 02115-3122 U.S.A.
