Healing is so much needed these days! The big question is, How can we improve health; how can we stem the proliferation of disease? As the Science of Christ that Jesus demonstrated in his remarkable healings, it enables us to follow his example in overcoming both disease and sin through spiritual means.
How wonderful it is to realize that what the world is seeking is right here with us and readily available! So spiritual healing can be explored by every one of us. Mrs. Eddy says: "Metaphysical healing, or Christian Science, is a demand of the times. Every man and every woman would desire and demand it, if he and she knew its infinite value and firm basis." Miscellaneous Writings, p. 232.
We come to the heart of this great subject of spiritual healing when we have the right standpoint. This means that we start with God rather than with the sickness or other trouble. The right standpoint, therefore, is spiritual rather than material.
