The man who wrote the following account first saw a copy of Science and Health as a child when his family was settling his grandfather's estate. He kept it as a memento of his grandparents. Some years went by before he took an interest in the book, but it was there when he was ready for it. Now he realizes it's natural for those who love this book ... to let family members know what a difference it has made. He feels his willingness to share with his brother opened the way to offer Science and Health to a fellow commuter who also has Christian Scientist relatives. ...
LEADING THOUGHT INTO THE 21ST CENTURY
"After attending a meeting about the sharing of Science and Health, I prayerfully opened my thinking to where and how I might share this precious book that has so uplifted and redeemed my own life. About three months later, it dawned on me that I should share it with my own brother, who was struggling with unemployment. (I am the only Christian Scientist in the family, and became one after my brother and I had grown up.) I immediately sent him a copy by express mail, with a note saying that it occurred to me that he didn't own a copy of the book that has so blessed my family and me, and that many have been blessed by reading the book, often in unexpected ways.
