As we mentioned in the January "To our readers...," among the hundreds of letters of gratitude for the Thanksgiving Full Text Quarterly, there were also a few letters questioning the publication and promotion of any Full Text Quarterly product. To shed light on the original publishing considerations, it might be helpful to read the announcement of the Full Text in the November 1990 Journal. As for promotion, it is our desire to promote in every way possible the study of the Bible Lesson. One way to do this is to bring the availability of the Full Text to people's attention. All of the Full Text products (print, audio, large type, video, Braille) are designed to meet individual needs. Their sole purpose is to encourage and facilitate study of the Lesson. As individual students, we all continue to have the opportunity to see the value of conducting our primary study directly from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
