This letter provides some comments and recommendations on two of your outstanding publications, the Christian Science Sentinel* and The Christian Science Journal.

My first recommendation concerning the Sentinel is simple: lighten up! The word light has many connotations within the Bible and the works of Mary Baker Eddy; in this case, I'm talking about simple humor.

Sentinel articles abundantly praise virtues such as kindness, patience, joy, wisdom, determination, and strength—but what about common, good-natured humor? ....
