From The Christian Science Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society

New appointments

From the July 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society are pleased to announce the election of J. Thomas Black, C.S.B., of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Black succeeds Honor Ramsay Hill, C.S., who left her post as Trustee when her husband, William H. Hill, was elected to The Christian Science Board of Directors.

Tom Black has been Committee on Publication for the state of Michigan for the past seven years and has advertised in The Christian Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner since 1964 and as a teacher of Christian Science since 1970. He served in the military as a Navy pilot, and as a Christian Science Representative in the Armed Services. Tom has been a regular contributor for many years to The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel.

We are grateful for the outstanding contribution that Mrs. Hill made in her capacity as a Trustee. The love for the mission of The Christian Science Publishing Society and the dedication expressed in her work are greatly appreciated.
