A reader of Science and Health from Massachusetts shares a recent experience:
Last Christmas the thought came to me to share Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures with a young man who stands at the corner of a very busy intersection every morning and sells newspapers. Although I usually don't buy from him, I always wave and smile, and he always seems so happy to see me and to smile and wave back. But I thought, Why would I be giving it to him? I don't really know him, and he seems so happy. He probably doesn't feel he needs something like this. But the thought just kept coming to share it with him.
So I wrapped it up as a gift and took it with me on my drive to work. Usually traffic is such that I'm passing him as I drive, but this time I had to stop at the red light and he was standing right there! I handed him this wrapped gift, and his eyes just lighted up. I said, "This is a book that I'd like to share with you, because it really changed my life, and I just thought you might enjoy reading it."
