When we've experienced the power of God that eliminates sin and sickness, we readily rely on God's laws as given in Christian Science for healing and for the resolution of our problems. Naturally we are concerned if a healing seems delayed. We want to know what more we can do to restore health and harmony.
It could be one need is to consider Christ Jesus' statement "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."Matt. 6:22. The promise—your whole body shall be full of light—is a promise of full healing.
Jesus wasn't referring to the material organ called eye. Here the eye refers to perception. Mind, not matter, perceives and comprehends. God is Mind. There is only one God, so there is only one Mind, possessing and imparting understanding. God is light, dwells in light, and gives light. The illumination of Truth, Life, and Love reveals the perfection of being.
