What do we do if we have been praying for a long time about a physical problem and healing just doesn't seem to come? Do we abandon the teachings of Christian Science and resort to some other method of healing? In Science and Health Mary Baker Eddy says: "The power of Christian Science and divine Love is omnipotent. It is indeed adequate to unclasp the hold and to destroy disease, sin, and death." Science and Health, p. 412
When healing does not seem to come, the real need is to turn thought completely away from dwelling on the difficulty to gaining a better understanding of God, divine Love, and our relationship to Him. We need to do this because God is the divine Principle of man's being, and all reality is found in Him.
Perhaps you may be thinking: "Yes, I really want to do this, but how can I? The difficulty is very painful, and I am frightened."
