My first contact with Science and Health was five years ago when I met a Christian Scientist who freely gave me a copy. For a long time the book lay at my home unopened. But one day, with the prospect of nothing to occupy some free time during a workday, I took the book to work and began to read it. I say this to assure others that although their gift of Science and Health may not be read immediately, their prayers will eventually be answered and the book will be read, just as a planted seed will sprout.
In the few years I have been reading Science and Health, I've had many opportunities to present copies of the book to family members, friends, and others. In the case of the first twenty-five books I shared, as well as the several dozen I've given since, it's been such a natural, spontaneous activity.
Several of my co-workers have accepted Science and Health. Other copies were given during my vacations in the Caribbean islands, where I made new acquaintances while visiting outdoor markets.
