Man is image*

From the May 1996 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Man is God's image. This absolute fact
is the only truth of why I act

and think and am—in divine Mind;
there is no other cause to find

for my life. I must always start
with Truth, be firm, take heart

that there is but one source for me:
I shine as Love's likeness eternally.

In truth, I'm image—reflected expression
of divine Principle, Life, in heaven,

not matter-body, sinning or ill,
fearful, dying—stop! Be still!

I am image! I radiate Soul
at Spirit's command: I am whole!

I'm free! No error chains me
to matter-belief. I can see

that I am image—God approved,
forever perfect, forever loved.
