News about shortwave broadcasting

From the October 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

You may have heard that as of last June, The Christian Science Publishing Society was no longer producing its news programming, Monitor Radio. We want, therefore, to tell you about the future broadcasting plans.

The Christian Science Publishing Society is continuing to produce religious programming in six languages. Meanwhile, we are also exploring news programming options that are self-sustaining. The current religious programming includes:

Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition (English)/The Herald of Christian Science (French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) Programs that include interviews and testimonies about spiritual healing based on Christian Science.
