Exposing the fallacy of animal magnetism

A small boy tricked his older sister through subtle suggestion. He stuck a straight pin through the crown of a straw cowboy hat, leaving the pin exposed about a half inch. Putting on the hat, he then went to his sister.

"Do you know why I don't wear this hat to school?" he asked her.

"I have no idea."
