One of the joys of Annual Meeting is listening to "general reports from the Field" (see Mary Baker Eddy, Manual of The Mother Church, Art. XIII, Sect. 1). We were deeply touched by the Field reports that follow, and are pleased to share them with you. In three accounts this month—one by a former mental health professional and two by former registered nurses—you'll read how Mrs. Eddy's book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures dramatically changed, and is continuing to change, their lives. The November issue of the Journal will bring three more reports that show how the leaven of Truth is bringing God's healing power to bear on people's lives.
In the video that preceded her talk, Mrs. Plum spoke of how Science and Health had been sitting on her shelf for several months before she began reading it in a time of great need. Then, it was as though she had to read that book!
