Remember this...

From the April 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

If thoughtless lack of wisdom on our part
Ever brought worry to a human heart,
Remember this...
Love divine, like painter with highest art,
Designs only tender comfort from the start.

If our careless actions have hurt another
And we now seem unable to console our brother,
Remember this...
There's no wrong done but Love can recover;
Its recompense ensures a peace all may discover.

Just as sunlight displaces stormy sky,
Reaching rain-swept earth, turning dampness into dry,
Remember this...
Love's calming presence quiets every sigh,
A healing, saving power ever nigh.

Whatever the nature of the case,
Be it reckless, hurtful, or just error's trace —
Remember this...
Love leads all to victory in life's race.
God's power and presence are a ceaseless grace.
