"Father, what is it You would have me do?"
Was the deep-felt prayer from someone who
Had daily sought out divine direction,
Knowing that, if needed, there'd be correction—
Confident that God always governed my day,
That my thought or feet couldn't, in truth, go astray.
I know, dear Father, that it's not for me
To say just what my direction should be,
For I know it's already established in Mind—
You do the leading, I'll follow behind.
What a wonderful feeling to know that we
Are always right where You want us to be.
