Pioneers of the Spiritual Millennium

From the July 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

An extraordinary International Conference will take place at The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston this August—and it's designed especially for you if you are a student, faculty member, or instructor at a college or university, a recent college graduate, or are in your last year of school (high school) before attending college.

The Conference will explore the theme "Pioneers of the Spiritual Millennium" in three dynamic days of inquiry and discussion with speakers and panelists from around the world. Participants will:

• discover what it takes to be a spiritual pioneer in the academic arena;

• become acquainted with the worldview of millennium and examine how a spiritual approach brings new insights and healing;

• explore spiritual solutions provided in the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy that challenge materialistic assumptions, and address influences in thought such as intellectualism, moral relativism, and entrenched cynicism.
