The Comment "All systems are go" is usually accompanied by a great sense of relief and satisfaction. It means that all that is required to carry out an activity has been thoroughly checked and no problems have been found. To make this judgment about how well systems are functioning requires a grasp of what governs them. On the subject of systems, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, after noting, "The sun is not affected by the revolution of the earth," makes this enlightening statement: "So Science reveals Soul as God, untouched by sin and death,—as the central Life and intelligence around which circle harmoniously all things in the systems of Mind." Science and Health, p. 310. This metaphysical truth can lead to the demonstration of harmony and wholeness in cases involving such systems as are believed to be indispensable to the life and health of man.
Christ Jesus told us that God is Spirit. Science and Health says: "Spirit God, has created all in and of Himself. Spirit never created matter." Ibid., p. 335. Therefore all true systems must be spiritual, not material. They are systems of Mind, not of matter. Man, the creation of Mind, Spirit, must also be spiritual. We need to grasp this truth in order to demonstrate dominion, health, and harmony.
When we enter into the closet, into prayer, as Jesus urged us, See Matt. 6:6 . and close the door on material hypotheses, we are looking to God, Spirit, for understanding. In prayer, our whole attention must be on the Father, the divine Principle, Love. When we are still and acknowledge the presence and power of Love, we are open and receptive to divine inspiration, which illumines consciousness with light and destroys fear and false belief. Love is always present, imparting the understanding that we need. Divine Love delivers us from any belief that something other than God, good, is governing. Science and Health explains, "Immortal Mind, governing all, must be acknowledged as supreme in the physical realm, so-called, as well as in the spiritual." Science and Health, p. 427.
