"Children, have ye any meat?" John 2 1:5. Jesus asked his disciples this question. They had fished all night, but their net was empty.
There may be times when this same question echoes in our own hearts. "Have ye any meat?" Has your work borne fruit? If we have toiled all night, so to speak, struggling with sickness or sin, and our prayers seem fruitless, we might not at first recognize the healing presence of Christ, Truth, on the edges of consciousness. But the same divine directive comes to us that came to the disciples: "Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find." John 21:6. It's as though Jesus were saying, "Do this, and you will find health, regeneration, peace, purity, and love." There was a deep tenderness and certainty conveyed by Jesus' words that inspired trust, and the disciples let their net down once again. And they pulled it up full.
There have been times, though, when I've been praying for healing and have wondered, where is the "right" side of the ship? I'll gladly cast my net there, but where is "there"?
