"We've got to listen more"

Serena Hutchinson-Brooks is a well-traveled Australian who loves "people, animals (especially dogs), old movies, going out dancing, and chatting with friends in cafes. "

Over several months, our News Editor, Kim Shippey, enjoyed a "talk about" with Serena through e-mail, and on the telephone to Australia and to England, where she is now working as a business consultant. Eventually, they were able to meet face to face in the Christian Science Publishing House in Boston.

"One Of The Most wonderful things about Christian Science is that you're not just told what to do and how to do it," says Serena with typical Aussie candor. "You're allowed time to understand the truths of being— to work through life's challenges for yourself, to make individual progress.
