BUILDING PROJECTS ARE under way in numerous churches, and this has prompted considerable interest in understanding what ensures successful church building and rebuilding.

It's not surprising that Mary Baker Eddy's published writings include some very helpful insights on this subject. Her works Miscellaneous Writings and The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany are largely compilations of letters and addresses to churches and assemblies of students during a period of significant church building. What might we learn from them?
